Wind Orchestra Website v4.0 Beta
For the exec year 24/25, a new website design has been created which aims to propel the wind orchestra website into the modern age. This page will track any changes made to the website over this year. If there any improvements you would like to see implemented, contact us here.

- The website has been given a major design overhaul to create a more interesting viewing experience​​

This includes a new dynamic showcase of rehearsal times, restructuring the home page, about section and small band areas

Improved general accessibility to all site pages

(*Note for future owners - This website now uses the containers tool in Wix to allow for more dynamic pages, which can sometimes be more difficult to edit effectively.)

The Blog Section has been split into the Events tab and the News Tab

Phased out the use of Tags as ways to sort blog posts

Posts can now be sorted using the categories features, below is some more information on how this works:

The category General will place a blog post into the News tab, while blog posts categorised as Upcoming will be placed in the Events tab.

Socials use to Socials category and will appear in the events section

The Events section is intended to be used for all concerts, socials and events held by Wind Orchestra

The News section now includes band updates and achievements such as performances in competitions etc.

Added a custom mobile version

With this redesign also comes a new custom mobile version​

Unfortunately, there is no search function on mobile due to the restrictions of Wix.

(*Note - The website on mobile can be very slow when loading pages on some devices, the will likely be fixed in a future update)
