Small Bands

Flute Choir also perform a big variety of music, especially different film pieces and arrangements of songs from musicals. They are run this year by Jude Poulson. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 3pm in the National Grid room.

Liquorice Sticks, our clarinet small band, perform a wide variety of music, ranging from up-beat pieces like Caprice, to famous classical excerpts and film music (How to Train Your Dragon). They rehearse on Wednesdays at 5-7pm in the National Grid room, currently coordinated by Millie Kobyłka.

Duck Duck Goose is a double reed and recorder ensemble for players of all abilities. We play a large variety of music from baroque to musical theatre with a range of instruments available to us in the music centre such as the contrabassoon and bass recorder. Our rehearsal time is 4.00pm in the Creative Learning Space, run by the coordinators, Edward King and Ellie Williams, if you’d like to come along!

Feeling Saxy perform a wide selection of music, entertaining audiences in a variety of locations. They are run this year by Bethan Davies-Asmar and Chris Foster and rehearse on Fridays 7:30-9:30pm in the Ensemble Room with regular saxy socials.
